Our Roanoke CCLP team had its first post-workshop meeting last week, and we spent the entire time talking about the basics of mission, vision and project scope. This is no easy task; because the Creative Class Group’s “4T” charge behind CNR 2030 is Technology, we are being deliberate as we build our strategic foundation.

Help us Grow a Carbon Neutral Roanoke Region

We concluded our two-day Creative Communities Leadership Program seminar with four fantastic initiatives that will certainly challenge our region’s resolve to change. And I’m excited to report that my idea was chosen as our Technology initiative. Called “CNR 2030: Growing a carbon-neutral region,” the ultimate goal is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030.
